  Failte gu Abla Nuadh!

Or in english Welcome to Nova Scotia, one of the most majestic provinces in Canada and home to  Cu Sithe Pembroke Welsh Corgis.Rich in Scottish Gaelic culture, from Yarmouth to  Scotchtown,Cape Breton,we live and breathe this heritage. It's in our music, our art,but more importantly it's in our blood. From the call of a lone bagpiper,to the guards of Citadel Hill to a unexpected ceildhi at a friends house. We love our culture,so when it came time to pick a name for our kennel we wanted it to do two things: honor our provinical history yet still do justice to the beautiful little dogs that have seemed to not only taken over our home but our hearts. And so Cu Sithe Pembroke Welsh Corgis was born.Cu Sithe is scottish gaelic for Fairy dog, which seems appropriate for the little dogs given to mankind as a gift from the fairies,or so the story goes!

Located along Nova Scotias beautiful South Shore, which has some of the most beautiful spots in the world from the fishing community of Peggy's cove,to Mahone Bay home of the famous three churches to Lunenburg, birthplace of the Bluenose and Christmas tree capital of the world. In one of it's small semi rural communities,Hebbs Cross,is the home of CuSithe corgis and us.We live in an old farmhouse situated on four acres of land, most of which we have culivated for the enjoyment of the birds, bees and butterflies, with the occassonal bat or two making an appearance. Our dogs live the country life, without going off the beaten path, wandering amongst apple trees, blueberry bushes and raspberry/blackberry canes. All of which they enjoy right off the trees and canes.

As of now our corgis are just show corgis, enjoying their time in the conformation ring and then living life as the pampered house companion that they become accustomed too.But we have big plans of obedience trails, herding clinics...and maybe even some agility too,for these courageous, intelligent and fiercely loyal beloved pets.
