Well show season has begun here but will not be in full swing until May.....we enjoyed the first outing and will continue to keep you updated as the year progresses.

News Flash:Sensei has won his Canine Federation Championship on October 18th 2009.Windsor Nova Scotia

Sensei will have an ad in the Winter Corgi Courier .A Big "THANKS" to his breeder Catherine, who loved the October Canine Review ad so much she wanted it  in the Courier.

We have a policy here at CuSithe:and it iis if my dogs are not having fun,the ring isn't the place for them to be.I put their health both physically and mentally above all else.If I feel they are not happy, they're not in the ring.If they are sick, they are not in the ring.I have been very lucky to have a mentor who has also encouraged me in this direction,if she feels  that Sensei doesn't want to be there she says so,She'll say give him a break, bring him out later and see how it goes.In many ways I'm lucky because Sensei loves the ring, loves the crowd and more importantly, loves his best friend in the ring, his handler and my mentor,Cassandra. From her we have been taught so much, and we continue to learn. So here is where we give our thanks to Cassandra, for the many hours she has donated to teaching myself about this wonderful world i've entered, for caring and loving Sensei like he was one of her own and for always being there when I'm panicking about something that proably was small stuff instead of concentrating on the big stuff.

When and if you ever decide to bring a corgi into your life, especially if you plan to show....go meet other show people, especially people who know that breed, maybe your breeder or another person who shows corgis, and hopefully you'll be as lucky as me to find a mentor who will guide you through the learning curve leading you to a wonderful show career and life with your corgi.

Thanks again Cassandra for all that you do for Sensei and I!
